Each year, June 27 is recognized as National HIV Testing Day. On this day, we encourage the community to get tested for HIV, know their status, and get linked to care/treatment. This year, we observe NHTD as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to create challenges for our communities therefore, we will be doubling down our prevention efforts by providing FREE HIV Testing and FREE COVID-19 Vaccines on June 27, 12-6 p.m. at 2420 Windsor Spring Rd, Augusta, GA 30906.
To encourage participation, the first 50 individuals tested will receive a gift card and all participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win $100! Six winners will be announced via Facebook @PiAugusta, Wednesday July 1, 2021. District residents who are unable to attend are encouraged to visit any of our 15 Health Departments or request a HIV Self-Test Kit online at ecphd.com/piaugusta.
