Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj set to perform at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards

(Las Vegas, NV) -- Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj are joining the star-studded lineup of performers at this weekend's Billboard Music Awards. Performing their collaboration track "High School," the rappers will take the stage during Sunday night's awards ceremony taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
will.i.am, Akon and Jennifer Lopez have also signed on to join previously announced artists, such as Pitbull, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miguel and Bruno Mars. Meanwhile, Cee Lo Green is slated to present Billboard's first ever Milestone Award, which is based on fan voting. Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars are all up for the honor.
Among the top nominees at this year's Billboard Music Awards are Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida. Rihanna managed to rack up nods in ten categories, including Top Artist. Nicki Minaj is in the running for seven awards. In the category of Top Rap Artist, the "American Idol" judge faces an all male field of rappers, including Drake, Flo Rida, Pitbull and Psy. Flo Rida also topped out at seven nominations. Apart from Top Rap Artist, Flo landed nods in the categories of Top Rap Song, Top Digital Songs Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
Other hip-hop and R&B stars up for awards include Chris Brown, Frank Ocean, 2 Chainz, Trey Songz and Kanye West. The show will air live Sunday, May 19th on ABC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
