Nicki Minaj has had her fair share of antics on "American Idol" this season: fighting with fellow judge Mariah Carey, flirting with contestants, and arriving late to Wednesday's live taping.

So when she dramatically proclaimed to contestant Curtis Finch Jr. during Thursday's elimination, "If you go home, I'm going home," it seemed like another attention-grabbing move.

I thought Curtis was the weakest singer on Wednesday, so it was no surprise to me when Ryan Seacrest announced he had the least votes. 

However, Nicki seemed to be in disbelief, mouthing the words "wow" and "bye" to the other judges and getting out of her chair as if she were leaving.

Keep in mind, just minutes earlier, Nicki had agreed it was Curtis' worst performance. Also, his performance on Wednesday was the one she MISSED due to traffic. Watch how it all unfolded:
